Who we are
Here at ADDC we’re serious about service. For most people living in Abu Dhabi and the surrounding areas, it’s our job to keep your water and electricity flowing. We work closely with Abu Dhabi Power Corporation (ADPC) and its subsidiaries, to make sure we always give you the highest standards of service. What’s more, we’re accountable to the Department of Energy (DoE), the independent regulator for the region’s water, wastewater and electricity sector. They’re responsible for looking after the interests of consumers and ensuring our services are always safe and efficient.
Before you start
For most people who rent property within Abu Dhabi city or surrounding areas, getting your water and electricity connected couldn’t be easier.
When you register your rental agreement with Tawtheeq, the city’s register for tenancy contracts, your water and electricity accounts will already be set up for you. This means, you don’t need to send us a separate connection request. What’s more, you can easily manage your ADDC services from home or work by activating your online account below.

If you’ve recently purchased your property, or you’re a tenant who lives outside of the area covered by Tawtheeq, you’ll need to complete a move in application to begin receiving water and electricity.

Your online account lets you pay bills, check your usage, manage your property accounts, and much more, from almost anywhere. All you’ll need to set things up is your ADDC account number.

What we charge and why
The amount you pay will depend on the kind of property you’re living in, as well as the amount of water and electricity you use. You’ll be charged a lower rate up to a set daily allowance (Green band), after which you’ll pay a higher rate (Red band). Here are our current residential tariffs:
